Welcome!

I am a social demographer and policy scholar. My interests lie in the fields of international migration, inequality, and education. Methodologically, I combine causal inference and quantitative methods to analyze these topics.

Originally from Mexico City, I completed a Ph.D. in Public Policy at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin in 2022 with specialized training in demography from the University of Texas at Austin's Population Research Center (PRC). I am currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Sociology at McGill University and earned an M.P.A. from Cornell University and a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Political Science from ITAM, Mexico.
